Mercury Plastics has extensive experience using electron beam processing to cross-link many different polymers. We have also utilized the technology to develop unique materials, such as PEX OT and PAX ETG61.

To minimize the costs and turnaround time typically associated with this process, Mercury Plastics invested in an electron beam processing plant through a strategic alliance with Kent State University. This 25,000 square foot facility has allowed us to gain extensive experience using e-beam processing to cross-link a myriad of polymers.
